March 5 Julie Tippetts: This year’s International Women’s Day program features English jazz singer Julie Tippetts, who started her career as pop singer Julie Driscoll. We’ll hear Julie with Brian Auger, Canto General, Mark Charig, Elton Dean, Nick Evans, Harry Miller,
Louis Moholo-Moholo, Keith Tippett and Robert Wyatt.

March 12 Listen Before You Buy: Recent jazz and blues releases by Sathima Bea Benjamin, Ronnie Earl, Mike Ellis, Jon Larsen,
Peter Paulsen, Ken Serio, Darren Sigesmund, Pierre Tanguay and Virginie Teychene.

March 19 Voltaire De Faut: A fascinating exploration of the recording career of pioneer Chicago clarinetist Voltaire “Volly” De Faut, including his recordings with Merritt Brunies, Art Hodes, Kitty Irvin,
Ray Miller, Jelly-Roll Morton & Muggsy Spanier.

March 26 Francois Houle: A portrait of Canada’s #1 jazz clarinetist. Will include his recordings with Marilyn Crispell, Benoit Delbecq, Dave Douglas and Evan Parker.

April 2 Listen Before You Buy: A selection from recent recordings by Grazyna Auguscik, Melody Breyer-Grell, Howard Britz, Eric Brochard, Little Art Duncan, Elli Fordyce, Paulinho Garcia,
Jean-Luc Guionnet, Betty Harris, Greg Hickman-Williams,
Ironica Orchestra, Keith Marks, Nicole Mitchell, Edward Perraud, Quartetski, Damian Rivero, Cynthia Sayer and Mike Walbridge.

April 9 The Joy of Sax: The distinctive saxophone stylings of Jane Ira Bloom, David Borgo, Ari Brown, Jean Derome, Keefe Jackson, Lee Konitz, Fraser MacPherson, Adnan Marquez-Borbon,
Jason Robinson, Sabertooth, Francois Theberge and Richard Underhill.

April 16 Copenhagen: Once again our friends at Storyville have invited us all to an evening of great jazz in Copenhagen; this time the featured artists are Benny Carter, Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis, Kenny Drew, Harry Edison and Bud Powell.

April 23 FIMAV: A preview of the Festival International de Musique Actuelle in Victoriaville which this year runs from May 15 to 19. Artists announced so far include Jean Derome, Fred Frith, Rene Lussier, Joe McPhee, Roscoe Mitchell, Martin Tetreault,Otomo Yoshihide and John Zorn.

April 30 Trumpets & Guitars: The trumpets of Jake Bergevin, Richard Boulger, Brad Goode, Clark Terry and Cuong Vu, and the guitars of Bernard Falaise, John Gzowski, Paul Hemmings, Piers Lawrence, John-Alex Mason, Doug Munro, and Giancarlo Nicolai promise a lively evening of jazz in many styles.
