BLUES QUEENS OF THE TWENTIES: As our contribution to International Women’s Day, we feature three of the first women to record blues in the early ‘twenties.
We’ll hear MARY STAFFORD in 1921 and 1926, EDITH WILSON in 1924, 1929, 1930, 1973
& 1975, and VICTORIA SPIVEY in 1929, 1937 and 1961.
