March 7 Listen Before You Buy: Ron Sweetman plays recent jazz releases, including trumpeters Guido Basso, Jimmy Owens & Craig Pedersen and saxophonists Harry Allen, Charles Gayle, Brian Landrus, Doug Martin, Evan Parker, Gary Smulyan, John Surman, Talking Cows, Jesper Thilo & Jason Yarde.

March 14 Sam Rivers: Co-Host Alnoor Allidina presents a look at the late musician and composer Sam Rivers. We sample from his many varied projects, and include his work as both sideman and leader.

March 21 Carlo Actis Dato: Ron Sweetman celebrates the 60th birthday and the recording career of this innovative Italian saxophonist, composer and band leader.

April 18 Ken Colyer: English trumpeter Ken Colyer was born on this day in 1928, and died just before his sixtieth birthday. We’ll listen to a number of his influential New Orleans style recordings made between 1953 and 1972.
