Swing Is In The Air is on the air each Sunday afternoon between 4pm and 5.30pm. There is a group of hosts that rotate from week to week and each provides a different approach to the jazz they select.
Ralph Hopper is one of the hosts and aired a program focusing on guitar jazz on June 16. On June 30 he will host a program headlined as ‘The Coast to Coast Big Band Battle’ although it will be less a battle and more a contrast in styles. The program will begin with the Lorraine Desmarais Big Band and then move on to the NY v LA battle with the Mingus Big Band and the Chris Walden Big Band.
